These group piano classes are designed for the curious and attentive child who is eager to gain the proper foundation and knowledge of piano fundamentals.
Keyboard Kids
BMC’s newest program offers group piano lessons from ages three to nine. Ultimately, these classes are designed to foster your little one’s interest in the piano, prepare your child for private piano instruction and supplement his/her piano education.
Keyboard Kids 2 (Ages 5-7)
What to expect:
KBK II is for our children that have completed KBK I, OR have demonstrated understanding of key techniques and lessons that will be needed to excel in KBK II. Children in this group may be developing reading and writing skills. Children in this class will be expected to sit and listen for longer periods of time, as well as introduce our left hand to the piano. We will incorporate intermittent activities, such as dry erase board work and rhythm games. A short performance will be held at the end of the 12-week semester.
Your child will receive six – and twelve–week progress reports and will perform a song at the end of the semester for their caretakers.*

Keyboard Kids 1 (Ages 3-5)
What to expect:
KBK I is for our youngest set of pre-reading students who are able to distinguish colors, letters and numbers. This class will introduce students to the piano with the incorporation of music symbols, terminology, and note names while integrating intermittent free movement, singing, and games. This class is ideal for the child that is curious about the piano.
Your child will receive six – and twelve–week progress reports and will perform a song at the end of the semester for their caretakers.*
Keyboard Kids 3 (Ages 7-9)
What to expect:
KBK III is for our children who have completed KBK II, OR have demonstrated understanding of the key techniques and lessons that will be needed to excel in KBK III. Children in this group should have reading and writing skills. Children in this class will be expected to sit and listen for the entire duration of class and will use both hands to play the piano. We will incorporate intermittent activities, such as dry erase board work and rhythm games. A short performance will be held at the end of the 12-week semester.
Your child will receive six – and twelve–week progress reports and will perform a song at the end of the semester for their caretakers.*
